Rancho Mission Viejo Stormwater Assistance

Olaunu has assisted RMV with oversight and guidance on the planning, design, regulatory compliance, and operation and maintenance guidance of stormwater structural measures for development areas totaling 5,381 acres in South Orange County. Assistance has included development of an operations and maintenance plan for structural stormwater systems integrated into a 1,600-acre development, assistance with design elements of stormwater structural measures including a large biofiltration basin and a large infiltration basin, development of Water Quality Management Plans (WQMPs) for several planning areas and sub-areas, development of guidelines for development of WQMPs for the Ranch Planned Community, and development and update of the RMV Regional BMP Tracking Spreadsheet which is intended to establish and track the volumes allocated to the regional BMPs in Planning Area 3 and update the status of volumes utilized based on implemented impervious areas in the planning subareas based on the impervious areas and thresholds implemented for RMV facilities and the builder tracts.
