Olaunu is currently and has been assisting the Los Angeles Community College District and BuildLACCD with the planning, design, design oversight, construction oversight, operations and maintenance guidance and training, and funding pursuits of stormwater capture projects at each of the LACCD’s nine colleges. Olaunu also assists with construction stormwater and Construction General Permit compliance assistance for BuildLACCD construction projects at each of the LACCD’s nine colleges.

LACCD is implementing stormwater and green infrastructure projects for its nine campuses located in Los Angeles County, California. Olaunu has completed to date planning and concept designs of fifty-nine stormwater projects. The stormwater project types include biofiltration, green streets, stormwater capture and use, underground infiltration, dry wells, and trash capture devices. Additionally, Olaunu has also assisted LACCD and BuildLACCD with Safe Clean Water Program funding applications, being successful with the award of over $13 Million for three LACCD stormwater projects and continues to assist in grant reporting and management. With the passage of several Los Angeles bond measures, LACCD, through BuildLACCD, is constructing and improving facilities throughout the nine colleges of LACCD. Olaunu assists LACCD and BuildLACCD with construction stormwater and Construction General Permit (CGP) compliance assistance for BuildLACCD construction projects at each of the LACCD’s nine colleges including SWPPP review, construction inspections, development of a construction stormwater manual, and SMARTS assistance.
